This beginner's course in Aromatherapy Massage is ideal if you are already practicing body massage, or other bodywork therapies. You will learn about the effects, benefits and properties of each oil, how to mix and blend, how Aromatherapy treatments can help alleviate common ailments together with a full body aromatherapy massage routine.
There are 2 days of practical training with home study including online theory test. You will learn how to conduct a thorough client consultation prior to treatment so that you can select which blend of base oil and aroma oils will be most effective, you can then use your oil blend to deliver a very effective full body aromatherapy massage therapy for your client.
At the end of the 2nd training training day you will also receive an aromatherapy massage treatment from the teacher... how good is that!
Our Aromatherapy Massage practitioner training course includes everything you need to safely and professionally conduct an aromatherapy massage treatment.
One-to-one tuition gives you the opportunity to focus upon individual requirements and the course will be tailored to your skill level and previous experience.
We arrange SOLO tuition for you at a date that suits you best. You will need to bring along a massage model on both days of training.
Please note: You need to have a qualification in body massage in order to undertake this course.
Diploma in Aromatherapy Massage.
Friendly & informal instruction.
Individual attention from your tutor.
Easy & fun to learn.
The theory test: Study your course manual at home and complete a theory test paper online. You can retake the test as many times as you like until you reach the pass mark and at no extra charge.
2 day practical: Starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm you will be taught all of the practical skills you will need to deliver a range of aromatherapy treatments. There is no practical test. Instead we assess your understanding and ability of each treatment technique as it is taught. As this is solo tuition you will need to bring a massage model with you on the training day. This can be a friend or member of your family.
This is the background and theory that you study from home and then complete an online test paper before attending your practical training. It is easily completed with between 8-12 hours of study time. For some people it may a little take longer.
