It is often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and it is for this reason that women have paid close attention to how they are presented for centuries. Well defined eyes show them off to their full potential whilst also balancing the face.

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering professional Lash & Brow treatments and includes a practical training session and assessment.

 

This GTi course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment and the techniques for eyebrow shaping, the tinting of eyelashes and eyebrows and the application of artificial lashes.

 

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a full-colour certificate for a GTi Award in Lash and Brow Treatments.

Solo Tuition with Diploma Qualification £299

One-to-one training delivered by a tutor at their venue. Payable in instalments.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available

 

Please note: If you are not already a member of the GTi you are required to join as a Student Member costing £25 and paid directly to the GTi.

 

Pay for this course in 2 instalments. The first instalment secures your place on the course. The second instalment gives you access to the training materials, online theory test paper and practical tuition.

  • How It Works

    • The theory test: Training materials are downloaded and theory module assessments completed online at the GTi website. You must pass all assessments before being able to participate with the course practical..

     

    1 day practical: Starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm you will be taught all of the skills you will need to deliver a professional lash and brow treatment. There is no practical test. Instead we assess your understanding and ability of each treatment technique as it is taught.

     

    Our GTi Courses are arranged as either solo or bespoke training which means that you will need to provide a model.

    Course Modules

    This is the background and theory that you study from home and then complete an online test paper before attending your practical training. It is easily completed with between 8-12 hours of study time. For some people it may take a little longer.

    Therapy Training School is an approved training provider. This particular course is written and accredited by the BeautyGuild. Insurance can be obtained directly from the BeautyGuild. You will be able to practice as a self-employed beauty therapist or mobile therapist. Always check with your potential employer (or local council) to ensure that this Award will be accepted by them.
